Shelter
Building safety, dignity, and hope through secure housing
A home is more than four walls. It is safety, comfort, and a place to heal. In moments of crisis, when families lose everything, a secure shelter becomes the first step toward recovery. ERD’s Shelter program ensures that displaced people and disaster survivors have a safe place to rest, rebuild, and regain their dignity.
We provide emergency tents, materials for rebuilding, and transitional shelters designed for safety and durability. These structures protect families from harsh weather, offer privacy, and serve as the foundation for mental and physical well-being.
But our mission goes beyond temporary solutions. We work with local communities to rebuild homes that are stronger, safer, and more resilient to future disasters. Every nail, brick, and tarp represents a step toward stability for a family that has lost its sense of belonging.
When you support ERD’s Shelter program, you help families move from survival to recovery, from despair to hope, and from displacement to home.
